The Cute smile which says it all

Friends and sports were the two things which brought me a smile
Until I saw a sweet smiling face the whose beauty made me beguile
Soon I found no joy in Nadal’s thunderous & scintillating forehand
And so the tennis court seemed to be an unknown stretch of land.

Never in my life had I been ever humbled my someone’s simplicity
I just wish and pray that some magic brought me in her proximity
Every time I feel like talking to her, I get nervous & run out of words
Or its just that none from the dictionary could describe beauty of hers.

I still remember the days when I was crazy about ronaldo’s freekick
Dunno why but now the sixty-yard football ground makes me sick
Not sure why this feeling and me being so much attracted to her
But would definitely love to have someone special as graceful as her

No idea what she thinks of me or whether she even knows me at all
But I can say that my liking for her would never come to a windfall.
She comes from a different world and perhaps is just opposite of me
However experiences suggest future is something none can foresee.

No one is important for me & no urgent work would take my time
Until and unless the reason behind her smile can be called ‘mine’.
I don’t promise I would bring her bright stars and elegant moon
Just the care ensuring all the happiness comes to her very soon.

UDRS Simplified

There are many flaws with the UDRS.

Snicko can’t be used because it takes too long and is easily cheated with. The whole thing costs people money and no one wants to pay for it. It takes too long. The weapons systems need to be set up manually which they often are incorrectly. Hot spot can be cheated. Sachin is against it. Simon Katich and Daryl Harper both are often involved.

All that said, it is here and now. We can all do barroom pontification on why democracy is a majorly flawed system of governance, but with an army of millions of the world’s poor and the backing of Ashton Kutcher and Stephen Fry on twitter there is little we can do to change it.

UDRS is like democracy.

And in this world cup we don’t even have a strong democracy, but a half a democracy with several of our rights not even being used.

Still, on the face of it fewer mistakes are made, wrongs are righted, and we all go home just not sad enough that we want to upset the world balance.

Then Ian Bell gets hit 2.5 meters away from the stumps. Apparently missiles can’t travel for the last 2.5 meters, so Billy trusts his original mistake.

Bell walked after seeing the video, other batsmen have been given out because of the 2.5 meter clause, and the only reason not to do it was because Billy doesn’t like to be wrong, even though you’d think he’d be used to it by now.

That this all happened against India, who have all but banned this democracy because their supreme ruler doesn’t like it, makes it even more important.

Now I’ve been on all sides of UDRS in the past. I like that it stops bad decisions, but I hate that it stops the drama and constant complaining of a truly shocking decision.

It was brought in to stop the shockers, but it spends most of its time trying to work out shades of grey, and it’s as open to interpretation as anything on the field, it just takes longer.

I like mistakes, hate it when things take time, and need to suck up to Sachin to get more hits, so I say no to UDRS.

It’s evil, boring, often wrong and doesn’t make the game better.

I want the shockers back, I want them to be instantaneous and I want the might of the Sachin Tendulkar Internet Militia to get on my side.

Anyone for the UDRS is basically questioning the sexuality and batting prowess of Sachin Tendulkar.

UDRS is as flawed as democracy and way more unnecessary. Plus it’s crap, Sachin told us so.

Yes to Sachin, No to UDRS.

I have long thought of writing a book based on my experiences with life, some good some bad. This post of mine is a prelude to a book I always have thought of-

“OFFSIDE:BEING AHEAD ISNT ALWAYS AN ADVANTAGE”

Offside, a familiar term for all the soccer fans, but alien to many people's ears. Offside is a situation in which a player tries to gain an advantage by being ahead of the final line of defense,however the Footballing rules consider this to be a foul and the ball is replayed.

In life too we all try to be ahead of others so as to gain an added advantage for the future. The basic mantra which most of us follow is that being successful in the present paves way for a golden and bright future. However the thumb rule which is generally skipped is at what cost is the success? And do we have enough strength and support left to carry forward? Remember in life too we have a referee, God and he foresees that similar to the game of football none gets a benefit playing the game of life. Some of you may argue that the world has seen an array of rich and successful people, to them I would like to dedicate this story which is an epitome of the real essence of life.

Here is a story of a simple 26 year old man who according to all has conquered the whole world at such a tender age. Being credited as the only person to design a software Shruti which has put an end to the word piracy not only from the human lives but also the dictionaries. At a time when others in his position would rejoice and celebrate, he founds himself at a Crossroad with no idea how to move ahead,whether this is what he dreamed of . He reflects back on his journey, the decisions he made and also whether anything he could have done better.

11 Things That make to my Wish List for 2011

• Roger Federer & Rafael Nadal pair up for the doubles circuit & with Lee and Hesh back into the frame,it would be really fascinating. Moreover the singles circuit need a break from them so we could have a new name in the G.K. Textbooks.

• Vettel regaining his F1 World Championship in front of my eyes in the inaugural INDIAN GRAND PRIX at Greater Noida . Perfect fireworks for my Diwali weekend ; 30^th Oct 2011 Nodia Calling, I just feel that I was born to witness this moment !

• India win 2011 Cricket World Cup, that would be a fitting end to the Master's journey that too on place of his incarnation. Also he thoroughly deserves the Bharat Ratna rather I should say that award would be obliged having Sachin's name on it.

• God please give me the Andy Roddick touch ! Naah I dont want to be the Ace Master,I just wanna meet the girl of my dream. Roddick flipped the pages of SPORTS ILLUSTRATED and the next thing was marrying the love of his life Brooklyn Decker, it has been ages since I have been flipping the pages of FLIMFARE, why doesn’t such magic occur to me ? Sonam I love you!

• Fats and loads of weight, I seriously need them ! Living on the coasts of Goa I often fear the first thing that would be blown by a Tsunami hitting the Western Coast would be me :P ! Wish I could relive my childhood days where I used to have the chubby cheeks, Believe it or not!

• The magic of Harry Potter or even G. C. Sarkar or anything that grants my this wish. I wish to be in two worlds at single time, Goa because the fun never ends here with my awesome gang and Ranchi as I am incomplete without this place.

• Women Reservation Bill or in that case any bill gets passed in the parliament. Damn it, why don’t the politicians work,the Winter Session without a minute's work cost the public a whooping 147 crores .Its a problem bigger than corruption and no JPC or PAC can solve this.

• Hindi news channel especially India TV perform their role, rather of adding spice to every news should feature the real story. Rather of running after TRP's they should look for developing credibility among the viewers .Else the government should limit the freedom of the Press ,we are really sick of programs such as SANSANI,SAAS BAHU AUR TV on the news channels.

• Stop Experimenting people, stick to what you are good at, else we will get disasters! Farah Khan tried directing and we got the debacle TMK, Himesh tried acting and we got the lame KAJRA RE. Cant Imagine Ramadev baba trying out his hand at politics, free yoga for votes, Somebody please STOP HIM!

• Crime against woman being stopped in the nation,its high time to act! I am sick of newspaper headlines filled with such stories and the its time we give the respect they deserve. Else the sex ratio in would fall to something in 700's and people would have no option rather turning GAY :P !

• A Good Priority number! 543,547,436,319, common someone explain how these are random, or the word random has a new definition. “Mera number Kab aayega?” If such remains the case then why would I go to classes? The brighter side of all this me on a holiday trip to Goa :D !
